College isn’t just about studying, it’s also about the experience! The S6F Student Union is at the heart of student life. Alongside providing entertainment; SU actively supports local charities and national causes, encouraging students to contribute something bigger than themselves.

A strong sense of community is central to everything the Student Union does. Regular events such as bake sales, fundraisers, and themed activities ensure there opportunities for everyone. There is also college-wide events such as the Winter Formal and S6F's summer festival.

The Student Union plays a key role in representing the student voice. It acts as bridge between students and college leadership; hosting forums, gathering feedback, and meeting with the management team to ensure student opinions are heard. This helps shape a college environment that is responsive, supportive, and student-focused.

Joining the Student Union in your second year offers a valuable opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Members take an active role in planning events, leading initiatives, and representing their peers - all while building confidence and forming strong connections.
